The trio travel by Beaver, helicopter and canoe, camp in tents, showcase their backpack contents, battle mosquitos, explain their role mapping rocks, and share their optimistic quest for finding a mine! The book also includes student activities for mapping, rock classification, and building geologic vocabulary.
