Virtual Junior Geologist Workshops
Partner-teachers Wanda Pickell and Andrea Eisler deliver this engaging, 1-1.5 hour virtual workshop for Grade 4-5 classes. Students will be introduced to the rock cycle and learn how the physical properties of rocks can tell you how they formed. They will learn about rocks and minerals as non-renewable natural resources, and how the properties of rocks and minerals determine how they are used.
Our Junior Geologist virtual workshop for intermediate students integrates Grade 4-5 science and socials curriculum. We are offering several different versions of the workshop so you can tailor the workshop to your curriculum.
